I have not used this camcorder, but the specifications look pretty outstanding for the price. Just letting my stereo sisters know about this, in case you've been shopping for a higher end prosumer 3D camcorder.
I'm sure you can search for reviews first, if it is of any interest.
Best,

One thing that I have struggled with as a DP/Stereographer/Engineer, is finding that happy medium between your high end, expensive rig such as 3Ality Technica TS5 rigs, and the smallest, pro-sumer grade camera such as the Sony HDR-TD10 which I recently used for a shoot. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the 3Ality Technica rigs and have worked with them on numerous occasions as an engineer. You can zoom, change IA, and converge all on the fly in perfect synchronization and alignment. But then, I…

Just wanted to share an interesting op ... with great tax write-off.
A passionate filmmaker I know with an incredible resume is fundraising to complete a totally innovate Transmedia Campaign to fight Human Trafficking. It combines a stunning documentary film with an awesome social change video game to educate teenagers about the dangers of Human Trafficking. (Did you know about 300,000 USA kids are at risk to become victims of Human Trafficking?!)
For a…

Hi, Stereo Sisters
Bruce and I've been working on a 3D documentary that we shot on the Panasonic Twin Lens Camera. Because of the shooting parameters, Bruce thinks that it is POSSIBLE that the footage from this camera will work for a theatrical release... even though the camera typically is used only for 3D TV release.
We now have a 3 minute rough-cut sizzle piece... and I'm looking for a 3D theatre where we could screen it just to see if it works... hopefully,…

A dear friend of mine and a creative genius, Brian Gardner has been one of my most inspiring friends in 3D. He has a masterful command of the depth language and a fascinating aesthetic imagination. Besides having been instrumental in the creation of the modern Stereoscopic 3D industry, Brian has forged many innovations pushing 3D to it's pioneering furthest. Some of these include "Depth Scoring software", the animation algorithms used to create "The Iron Giant" via CGI in a hand-drawn style,…

I have 52 days to raise $390K on Kickstarter to get into the production stage and bring TOOB dome screens to market. Please spread the word. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1439004669/toob-immersive-dome-display

Whether you would like your very own TOOB dome screen or just see it on the market, PLEASE support us now. We have less than 2 months to raise $390,000.00 and every dollar counts. For just $8.00 we plan to precision machine your name onto our "WE SUPPORTED TOOB" plaque and proudly display it in our entrance hall and for those of you early adopters you can get a 4ft TOOB Earth Dome Display straight off the production line for $800.00, which is less than the projected retail price. Be a part…

Sister Susan Pinsky put me in contact with a gentleman from the German Stereoscopic Society who is conducting a survey - and has been light on "female" data. I am posting his intro letter below, along with the link to the survey. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts and help our Stereo Brother out.
Thanks -
