Captured Melody is a live action/CG fantasy film shot in eye popping stereo 3D about a 12-year old girl named Beth who learns the secret to her own identity and the real meaning of love through a story her grandmother tells her. It's a whole different take on the Prince and the Princess living happily ever after. We expose one of life's truths; "Love isn't always a Fairy Tale"

This MFA thesis film will be shown as part of a line up of films for the evening. Here is the list.

8:00pm - My Night Out With Mom; running time 13-15 min. directed by Ian Jameson (WIP)
Synopsis: Live action family drama about a father and daughter figuring out their new normal as the young girl attempts to organize a girls’ night out with her recently estranged mother. 

8:20pm - East of Kensington; running time 20 min. directed by Kellen Moore
Synopsis: Live action/CG film. Years after Peter Pan and the Lost Boys have overthrown the pirates, Peter visits London to return Wendy to Neverland when he is kidnapped by a mysterious Stranger who dwells in the dark decaying remains of the Darling house.

8:40pm - Captured Melody; running time 20 min. directed by Melissa Garza
Synopsis: Live action/CG in Stereoscopic 3D. Depressed over her first rejection in love, 12-year old Beth Callahan finds herself stuck listening while her Grandma Rose attempts to cheer her up with a story. Beth doesn’t buy the story, but her curiosity gets the best of her. 

Please Note: Some people may experience discomfort (such as eye strain, eye fatigue or nausea) while watching 3D video imagery. The 3D is very vivid.
