Romell Foster-Owens is an Emmy Award winning Producer and award winning director with more than 20 years experience as a producer, director and writer of Independent feature films, documentaries, TV Series, Made for TV movies and commercials. Recent Awards include Best Short Film 2012 Madrid International Film Festival, two Official Selections of the Cannes Film Festival, A Platinum Aurora Award, two Gold Aurora Awards, 3 Telly Awards and 2 Addy Awards. She is a graduate of the American Film Institute (Directing:. She is on the board of Directors of the Gang Alternatives Program and Secure Transitions Foster Care Agency and is a member of Women In Film and the Alliance of Women Directors. Ms. Foster-Owens is an alumni of Robert De Niro's Tribeca All Access Program and an alumni of the Producers Guild of America's Diversity Workshop and is President of Jowharah Films.
